MODIS Atmosphere
Terra (MODIS) data – Terra satellite, MODIS instrument.
Data type: atmospheric products.
You can find these data in Climate Wikience: “Layers-> Temporal”, tree node named “MODIS L3 Atmosphere”. Each data value occupies entire cell of regular latitude-longitude grid with spatial resolution of 1°×1°.
This is a collection of satellite data MODIS L3 with spatial resolution 1°×1° global (for the whole planet) and one day interval. The data are available since 2000 till current. Data contain over 600 characteristics:
- Clouds
- Aerosol
- Water vapour
- the amount and distribution of ozone over a territory
- cloud masks (whether a given territory is covered by a cloud or its shadow)
